It was raining heavily when Tara reached the bus stop. She noticed an elderly woman standing without an umbrella. Tara opened hers wider and said, “Please come under my umbrella.” The woman smiled gratefully, and together they waited for the bus. While they were talking, Tara learned that the woman lived close to her own house. They shared the umbrella again while walking home. Before leaving, the woman said, “You turned a wet, gloomy day into a bright one. Thank you!” Tara felt warm inside, even in the cold rain.
